Keith also resolved the press attention and rumours his partner's disappearance produced, marketing some rumours "disgusting".

"Rumours, presumptions, can be found and dislike have been both stressful and dreadful. We are not going to allow those individuals take away our soul, love or delight in our lady discovered in existence and home where she connected," he said.

"I understand individuals want the tale, images, evidence that this was not some kind of scam, plan to gain money or some designed competition war. I do not see a reason in dealing with each crazy lie."
