Actress Lena Dunham declared during the latest show of her podcast “Women of the Hour” that she desires she had gone through an abortion to be able to fight “stigma around this matter.”

Dunham said that “something I’ve believed about a lot is the reason that there is judgment around abortion.”

“We all know that there’s social judgment, it’s difficult to put an abortion on system TV,” she included.

Dunham, an author and manufacturer of HBO’s “Girls,” said that her mom trained her to explain herself as “a pro-choice lady.”

“From an early age, she trained my younger brother and me to say ‘anti-choice’ instead of ‘pro-life’ because she wished to ensure that we noticed that everyone is pro-life,” Dunham said. “Some individuals are anti-choice.”

Dunham said that as an “abortion privileges capitalist,” she always believed that she never did anything to “stigmatize abortion.”

“But one day, when I was going to a Organized Being a parent in Florida a couple of decades ago, a litttle lady stepped up to me and talked about if I’d like to be a portion of her venture in which females discuss their experiences of abortions,” Dunham said. “I kind of hopped. ‘I haven’t had an abortion,’ I informed her. I needed for making it really obvious to her that as much as I was going out and battling for other women’s choices, I myself had never had an abortion.”

“And I noticed then that even I was holding within myself judgment around this matter,” Dunham ongoing. “Even I, the lady so what as much as anybody about a woman’s right to select, experienced it was essential that individuals know I was unmarked in this division.”

Dunham said that many of her liked ones have “had to have abortions for all types of factors.”

“I experience so satisfied with them for their courage, for their self-knowledge, and it was a really essential time for me then to recognize I had internalized some of what community was tossing at us and I had to put it in the rubbish,” she said. “Now I can say that I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had.”
